The Southeast Michigan Construction Academy is the education affiliate for the Associated Builders and Contactors Southeastern Michigan. For more than 30 years, SEMCA has provided a pipeline of qualified tradespeople taught by master-craftsman for the jobs available in the workplace.

We train in electrical, carpentry and welding, and also offer an introduction to the construction trades course. SEMCA has become one of the largest trade schools in Michigan, enrolling more than 600 apprentices a year.
